The Quality Awards are designed to recognise customers who, using the SAP quality principles, have effectively managed software implementations marked by complex technical and business process requirements. Chosen from more than 50 entries across Europe, ESBIE was one of 11 finalists preselected to present their project to a judging panel consisting of a number of prestigious SAP partners including: Accenture; Cap Gemini; Deloitte and IBM. "There were a number of key success factors for us - total commitment and support from ESBIE management; the release of critical experts within the business; a clear agreement on scope and constraints and excellent working relationships with our service providers ITS, SAP and Mentec," commented Susan Kinane, Project Manager, ESBIE. With only four awards the panel faced a difficult decision. After much deliberation ESBIE was announced as winner of the Implementations for Companies with Less Than 500 Employees category. Other Winners included:
Liam Molloy, Managing Director, ESBIE believes, "The real success of this project has been a marked improvement in our service to customers. The SAP implementation has also had a significant impact on our bottom line in terms of improved cash flow. |
