First Line Manager development
Certificates were presented to seven Line Managers who recently completed all three modules in the Power Generation Line Manager Development Programme as part of their ITDP.
The successful participants were presented with certificates by Billy Byrne, HR Manager, Power Generation, at a ceremony in the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh in July.
In presenting the certificates, Billy recognised the pivotal role that a First Line Manager plays in the achievement of Power Generation's business objectives. The Line Manager Development Programme consists of three 2-day modules focusing on Self Management, Relationship Management and Process Management.
The programme affords Line Managers the opportunity to further develop their skills, knowledge and awareness in the following areas:

- Influencing & Negotiating skills
- Time Management
- Team Building
- Staff Development
- Grievance & Disciplinary procedures
