Safety milestone achieved in Tarbert
On 29th july esb Tarbert achieved a significant milestone. The station celebrated one year without a Lost Time Incident a first time achievement for the station. The efforts of all management and staff which were harnessed through the Station Safety Improvement Group raised the Safety Awareness message for all. The Station Safety Improvement Plan approved and monitored by the Safety Improvement Group focussed on the following;
- A new expanded Risk Assessment Process.
- An extensive Safety Auditing Programme.
- A Station Tidiness Initiative.
- A focussed Safety Incentive Scheme with regular staff communication on progress.
